2 questions... @ 02:39 pm

willow42:
I'm currently feelin: sad sad

I Just found out this morning how much the cheapest ticket is (49.50) and the tickets go on this saturday...I am poor!!! I work like 8 hours a week (my hours were cut) and I have bills and loans, and I really want to go...but now I have no one to go with, and I can't afford to buy a ticket for someone else...I don't know what to do. But anyway, my question is...Does anyone know why they are so expensive? Mabey I'm a dope and I didn't see if anyone else posted anything about this...I'm sorry if they did and I didn't see it. I also have another question, but it's from my friend...he wants to know if anyone has heard the vertigo remix by trent reznor and what you think of it... thanks!!!

Willow

That's exactly what I was going to say. Ticket prices aren't as cheap as they used to be.

I wish I'd been alive and in the right place at the right time to see early U2 shows for just a dollar!

I think, although it is a lot, that you's are lucky in a way to pay $49.50!!

My floor tickets cost £50 each, i mean thats like over $90 ...EACH... not fair! Lol, i'm going to be in debt forever now though my hours too got cut to 4-8 so i sympathise...i was just stupid with a credit card or else id've had no chance :(

Yeah, I can't believe the price difference between the US and the UK! I'm rather glad I'm travelling to the US, though I do wonder what prices they'll charge when they finally come down here to Australia ...

I realize they are a huge band...but they aren't Rolling Stones, they aren't Tina Turner, or anyone else you mentioned...what happend to music being about music and not caring how much money you can make from a concert? Don't get me wrong, I am a huge U2 fan, since the womb, but there used to be a time when they would play to play, not to make money...and after you add all the handling charges, I had to pay $60 for A seat...I'm a starving artist man, I can't afford to be doing that!!! I did it anyway, because no matter how pissed off I get, I wills till try my hardest to go to a show, because, its sad to say, they are my life. I would go in debt for them, but I shouldn't have to...
